‘I've got a new life now, a new future, there's a lot more to accomplish and experience!’
Hi! My name is Hafsa Yasin. I’ve done B.S in Nanotechnology from Pakistan. I had passion of doing MBA so I came in China as it is called the ‘‘Hub of Global Business’’. On 4th January 2020 I reached here. I got enrolled for Chinese language in ‘‘Guangxi Normal University for Nationalities’’ which was located in Changzhou City; Guangxi Province. I made new friends. Teachers were very informative. The life over there was not so bad but there was one drawback, that city was small. I’m very fond of travelling, exploring new places and also wanted to study business administration so that’s the reason why I decided to move on and get admission in MBA from ‘‘Shanxi University of Finance and Economics’’ which is located in Taiyuan city; capital of Shanxi Province. Shanxi University of Finance and Economics (abbr. as SXUFE) simplified in Chinese as: 山西财经大学; pinyin: shanxi cáijīng dàxué was founded in 1951. This university sticks to highlighting the academic characteristics and advantages of Economics and Management, focusing on Economics, Management and Laws as the mainstay subjects and developing interdependently Economics, Management, Laws, Literal Arts, Science, Engineering and Teaching. That’s why I chose this university for my Post-graduate degree. Miss Fan who is in the administration of SXUFE helped me a lot throughout my journey. Miss Zhang who is the Dean, she gave us a warm welcome. All the students here in dormitory are very kind and obliging. Here teachers deliver their lectures very keenly. They put all of their efforts to make us understand each and every point. I have observed here that students are also very hard-working. They give their best in every aspect. Along with curriculum; non-curriculum facilities are here as well. Grounds are there for playing basketball, soccer, tennis etc. Library and also separate study rooms are provided to students so that they can study well. This university makes you strong intellectually as well as physically. We had a Welcome Ceremony for all the MBA Students. Professors who conducted that ceremony motivated us a lot. We were also invited for the meeting with the dean and different supervisors of MBA department. We are total 13 students in a batch. 5 students including me are currently here in China but others are in Abroad. So our department arranged meeting with them also at the same time on ‘‘Ding-talk app’’. This meeting was very instructive. All the mentors who attended that meeting enlightened our future. They boosted our confidence. By enrolling in this university I feel as I have already taken one step ahead to reach my ambitions. The strongest person is the one who takes hurdles as a challenge and never gives up. I’m trying to be that strongest person. I hope that in these 2 years I will learn all about Chinese language and its culture and also about MBA Degree. Currently in my 1st semester I have one subject named as ‘‘Chinese Culture’’ which I like the most. There is one ‘‘Confucius Quote’’ to which I will follow throughout my life;
‘‘The wise are not puzzled, the benevolent are not worried and the brave are not afraid…’’
